Building Information:

Student Arrival -  Students are allowed in the front lobby after 8:00 am.  The school does not accept responsibility for students who arrive at school prior to 8:00 am.

Parking & Pick-up - Cars MAY NOT use the front driveway from 8:15 - 8:35 am, and from 2:45 - 3:10 pm.

Please be aware of our one way entrances and exits in our lower parking lot.  If you pick up your child, you must obey the driving patterns designated for student pick-up.  This pattern was developed to ensure the safety of our students.  Also, any drivers on and around school property should be alert of student walkers.  Drive Safely!

Dismissal - Walkers are dismissed at 2:45 pm.  Bussed students are dismissed at approximately 2:50 pm.

Walkers - Parents picking up their children at the end of the day should park in the lower parking lot, walk up the steps, and wait at the crosswalk for their children.  Children should not walk unsupervised in the parking lot for safety reasons due to traffic congestion.

Building Security:

All doors to the school will be locked at all times.  Visitors should approach the building using the main entrance and will be buzzed using our camera/intercom system.  Please understand that due to security reasons, no person inside the building is permitted to open the doors for any visitor.

All visitors to the school shall enter the building by the main doors and proceed up the main stairs (directly to the right of the entrance doors) to the principal's office on the second floor.

All visitors must sign in at the office upon arrival, stating their name, the date and time of their visit, and to which section of the building they will be going.  All visitors will be given a visitor's badge which they are expected to wear while in the building.  All visitors must return to the office to sign out and return their badge prior to leaving the building.

General Information:

Early Release of Students - Parents wishing to pick up students during the school day must report to the office and sign out the student (for your child's protection we will ask to see identification, such as a driver's license).  The office secretary will phone your child's classroom and the student will report to the office.

Late Arrivals - Students who arrive to school on or after 8:25 will be marked Tardy.  Please be aware that illegal tardiness and absences are subject to disciplinary action.

Littering - Littering inside and/or outside of the school building or anywhere on school grounds is prohibited.  Violators may be subject to disciplinary action and/or levying of fines.

Six Day Schedule - Our elementary school operates on a six day schedule.  In the event that a day of school is canceled, we will not skip that school day's scheduled activities.  Instead, the scheduled activities will take place the next day that school is in session.
